When I first got serious about writing romance…

I did what I was supposed to do. I studied structure. I followed the so-called “universal” story beats. I tried to shape my characters and plots to fit what every craft book said would work.

I wrote novels that were technically solid. They hit the tropes. They made sense on paper. But they didn’t sell the way I hoped—and deep down, I knew why.

Readers liked them… but they didn’t love them. They didn’t binge them. They didn’t finish one and immediately want the next.

This sent me on a reading, writing, and studying journey. To put my finger on what I was missing.

Every tool I used promised it would work for romance—but none of them fully understood what makes a romance story work.

I didn’t just want the feels. I wanted a framework to deliver them on purpose, every time.

So, I built what didn’t exist.

This blueprint came out of years of writing, testing, revising, and studying what moved readers. It’s the system I created when I got tired of writing good books—and decided to write addictive ones.

So how did I end up with 100+ published novels and multiple bestselling pen names?

The truth is…

There are a dozen ways to try and write a “successful” romance novel. You’ve probably:

  • Followed a one-size-fits-all story structure—only to end up with flat characters and off pacing
  • Read every craft book you could find, and somehow felt more confused than when you started
  • Bought plotting templates that looked great on paper… but collapsed the second real emotions hit the page
  • Jumped in with no plan at all, hoping inspiration alone could carry you through 80,000 words

And still, your story doesn’t feel done.

Or worse—it doesn’t feel right.

But after hitting the bestseller lists, publishing over 100 novels, and helping other authors do the same—I don’t recommend any of those approaches.

In fact, those complicated strategies, cookie-cutter templates, and trendy shortcuts don’t work, because:

  • Most story structures weren’t built for romance. They ignore emotional pacing, character connection, and the deeper beats that make love stories addictive.
  • And without a clear understanding of reader expectations, you’re just guessing—writing stories that don’t land, don’t resonate, and don’t sell.

So, what’s the key to writing books readers binge and building a romance brand that lasts?

I built a bestselling author career—and helped countless writers do the same—by creating a story system that centers emotional resonance and market strategy.

And I can show you exactly how to do the same thing—so you can stop guessing, start plotting, and finally write romance novels that work for your readers and your career.

So are you ready to…

Wake up with a clear plan for your novel—and the confidence to write it

stop second-guessing every beat, every scene, every emotional turn

finally write the romance story your readers can’t put down

…all without forcing your romance into a structure that doesn’t fit or wasting time on plotting methods that weren’t built for romance?
